Mary Jane Giannini, 85, Trail Creek, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 11:08 a.m. in Rittenhouse Senior Living of Michigan City.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, 606 S. Woodland Ave., Michigan City, IN with Fr. Jordan Fetcko officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Michigan City. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the Queen of All Saints Legacy Center, Michigan City.

She was born on January 5, 1938, in Michigan City, Indiana to the late John and Mary (Boyan) Malik. On August 7, 1971, in Michigan City, Indiana, she married Peter F. Giannini, who preceded her in death February 21, 2003.

Surviving are two sons, Kevin Giannini of Costa Mesa, California and Brian (Mabel) Giannini of La Verne, California; one sister, Irene Jamrock of Merrillville, Indiana; one brother, Edward Malik of Michigan City, Indiana; and one grandson, Andrew Giannini. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four sisters, Sophie Pizarek, Dolores Chmielowiec, Janet Ohms, and Genevieve Lasky; and one brother, John Malik. 

Mary Giannini was a homemaker and worked for many years as a teacher's assistant at Queen of All Saints School, Michigan City.
