Mary M. Wahl, 89, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 7:30 PM in Aperion Care -  Michigan City, Michigan City, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.  Burial will follow in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Michigan City, Indiana. Visitation hours will be Tuesday from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.    

She was born August 20, 1932 in Mount Savage, Maryland to the late Harvey and Bessie (Hall) Lepley. On January 9, 1950 in Sand Patch, Pennsylvania she married Harvey Wahl who preceded her in death on July 8, 1998. Surviving are her children John (Luann) Wahl of La Porte, Indiana, Rhonda Henderson, Michigan City, Indiana, Valerie (David) Mokrycki, New Carlisle, Ohio,  Rod (Kellie) Wahl of La Porte, Indiana, Doreen Wahl, Raleigh, North Carolina and Grant (Mary Anne) Wahl of Chesterton, Indiana; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Marie Gnagey, Meyersdale, Pennsylvania; She was preceded in death by a grandchild, James Wahl; son-in-law, Terry Henderson; sister, Faye Ellis along with three brothers, Alvin Lepley, Stanley Lepley, Galen Lepley;   

Mary retired as Data Processing Supervisor from  Bethlehem Steel Burns Harbor Plant.  She enjoyed sewing, reading, crossword puzzles, watching TV and debating the political  world.
