Mary B. Nichols, 92, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Friday, December 27, 2019 at 9:00 pm in Life Care Center of Michigan City, Indiana.

Private family services will be held at a later date. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

She was born September 28, 1927 in Madisonville, TN to the late Clyde and Lena Mae (Gudger) Nichols.

Surviving are daughter, Dixie Palmer; grandson, Richard Palmer of Michigan City, IN; sister, Julia White of TN; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; She was preceded in death by father, Clyde Nichols; mother, Lena Mae Nichols; and 4 brothers.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her dogs and collecting dolls. She loved being around her family, especially helping raise her nieces and nephews.
