Marvin F. Losiniecki, 91, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 2:00 am at his home in Michigan City, Indiana.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery mausoleum, Michigan City, Indiana. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana is handling arrangements.
He was born February 13, 1929 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Frank and Tillie (Wotta) Losiniecki. On November 23, 1950 in St. Marys Catholic Church, Michigan City, Indiana he married Mary Ann (Wood) Losiniecki who survives in Michigan City, Indiana.
Also surviving are son, Steven (Alita) Losiniecki of La Porte, Indiana; granddaughter, Myranda (Travis) Keehn of La Porte, Indiana; grandson, Matthew (Jane) Losiniecki of Scottsdale, Arizona; great-grandson, Kai Keehn; sister, Delcie Sosinski of Michigan City, Indiana; several nieces and nephews.
Marvin retired from Nipsco as an assistant gas supervisor after 42 years. He honorably served in the United States Army from 1951-1952, stationed in Munich Germany. He was a member of Queen of all Saints Catholic Church and the Elks Lodge #432. Marvin enjoyed fishing, gardening, and working around the house. Marvin was a contractor that built homes, and did remodeling for his family and community.
