Marcia A. Gielow, 67, of Port Charlotte, Florida, formerly of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away August 28, 2021, at Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Port Charlotte, Florida.  

She was born May 6, 1954, in Michigan City to Wallace and Phyllis (Levendoski) Wizieck. On July 26, 1975, she was married to Thomas Gielow.  Marcia is survived by her loving husband Thomas, her daughter Sarah (Michael) Shore of Melbourne, Florida, her son Timothy Gielow of Michigan City, Indiana, and her grandchildren who were the light of her life, Aaron Parrett of Melbourne, Florida and Maggie Gielow of Michigan City, Indiana. She is also survived by her brother Dale (Sherry) Wizieck of Port Charlotte, Florida, as well as many extended family members, friends, and loved ones.  Marcia was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Ryan McCleery.  
Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Michigan City, Indiana with Brother Shaun Gray officiating.  Arrangements are being handled by the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the children’s charity of the donor’s choice.
