Louise Alumbaugh

Louise A. Alumbaugh, 63, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 3:59 pm in Franciscan Health - Michigan City, Indiana. 

Private family services will be held at a later date. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements.    

She was born May 18, 1961 in Watseka, Illinois. 

Surviving is her significant other, Charles Grant of Michigan City, IN; son, James (Brittney Mackey) Hollis of Green Valley, IL; grandchild, Remmington Hollis of Green Valley, IL; sister, Rose Bean; two brothers, Frank Bean, Don Casey; two step grandchildren, Greyson and Jon Mackey. She was preceded in death by mother, Bertha Bean.   

Louise was a huge fan of anything to do with cats and really enjoyed helping when she could at Fried's Cat Shelter in Michigan City. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and camping.
