Louis A. White, 91, New Buffalo, Michigan, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022 at 11:25 AM in Trail Creek Place, Michigan City, Indiana

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, August 19, 2022 at Greenwood Cemetery, Section 4, Michigan City, Indiana. Arrangements are being handled by the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana. 

He was born May 20, 1931 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Paul and Antonette (La Rocco) White.  Surviving are two sons, Paul L.White of Cave Creek, Arizona, Steven (Elisabeth ) White of Apollo Beach, Florida; two grandsons, Nicholas and Brandon White; brother, John P. (Nancy) White of Michigan City, Indiana; companion & best friend, Janet Werner of Michigan City, Indiana; He was preceded in death by sister, Anna Mae Haas; brother, Richard J. White;    

He was a member of  St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, New Buffalo, Michigan.  He retired from Indiana Bell Telephone in 1991 after 41 years as a repairman. From 1991 till 2018 Lou worked as a groundskeeper at Hampshire Golf Course, Dowagiac, Michigan.  He enjoyed golfing, sunsets and taking rides in the country.
