Louis E. "Uncle Lou" Weber, Jr., 90, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 3:40 pm in Franciscan Health - Michigan City.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, September 20, 2024 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 1506 Washington Street, Michigan City, IN with Rev. Walter Ciesla officiating. Private burial will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, South Bend, IN. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Thursday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN and from 9:30 am - 10:00 am Friday at the church.
He was born July 28, 1934 in South Bend, IN to the late Louis E. and Laura (Jamrosey) Weber, Sr. On April 14, 1956 in South Bend, IN he married Janet Nowicki who preceded him on May 7, 2000.
Surviving is his daughter, LuAnn (Debra Wright) Weber of Bristol, IN.
Louis retired as a State Trooper with the Indiana State Police and also retired in 2024 after 35 years as the host of The Fun in Michiana Show. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves and was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Michigan City, IN, St. Hedwig Catholic Church, South Bend, IN and the Michigan City Exchange Club. Uncle Lou enjoyed fishing, his family, friends and people. Giving back to in his community was very important to him.
