Kenneth K. Hohrun, 67, Trail Creek, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 11:47 am in Franciscan Health - Michigan City.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, October 19, 2020 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with Pastor Terry McKinney officiating. Private burial will take place in Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Monday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

He was born February 25, 1953 in Valparaiso, IN to the late Paul and Rose Mary (Cochran) Hohrun. In 1977 he married Patricia Koval Hohrun who preceded him in 2011, then in 2014 he married Linda Hussey Hohrun who survives in Trail Creek, IN.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mary (Jon) Bruce of Valparaiso, IN; three sons, Peter Hohrun of Merrillville, IN, Joseph (Terri) Hohrun of Lake Station, IN and Joshua (Tanya) Hohrun of Valparaiso, IN; two step-daughters, Jennifer Willett of South Haven, IN and Karie Grott of New Buffalo, MI; two step-sons, Steven (Candice) Long of Michigan City, IN and Michael (Ednie) McKeehan of LaPorte, IN; three grandchildren, Farrah Hohrun, Jacob Bruce and Rebecca Bruce; and three sisters, Carol Zakutansky of Portage, IN, Susan Hohrun of Portage, IN and April Kriss of Warsaw, IN.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Candy Kriss and Ruth Kriss; brother, Harold Kriss; a his step-son, Luke Gumm.

Kenneth retired in 2019 after 47 years with Arcelor Mittal and he was a U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed playing Santa, working puzzles, fishing and coaching his son's little league baseball teams.
