Judith L. Ritchie, 79, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 10:22 am in Golden Living Center - Fountainview Terrace , La Porte, IN.

Graveside services and burial will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, December 3, 2021 at Heckman Cemetery, Hesston, IN.  The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.    

She was born November 21, 1942 in Michigan City, IN to the late Arnold and Dorothy (Schaefer) Liedtke. On March 18, 1961 she married Gerald Ritchie who survives in Michigan City, IN.

Also surviving are five daughters, Jamie (Wilson) Sulivan of Hobart, IN, Julie (David) Cunningham of The Pines, IN, Susanne (Arthur) Mullins of La Porte, IN, Lorie Chambers of Michigan City, IN and Beth Ritchie of Michigan City, IN; two sons, Michael Ritchie and Brett (Tara) Ritchie, both of Michigan City, IN; 15  grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Janet Young of La Porte, IN; and her brother, Dennis Liedtke of Michigan City, IN.

She was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Ann and Phyllis.   

Judith had worked as an aerobics instructor at Northwest Athletic Club and for many years at JCPenny and Sears. She enjoyed aerobics and spending time with her family.
