John N.  Dull, 83, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 9:17 am in Franciscan Health - Michigan City, Michigan City, Indiana.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Buffalo & 10th Streets, Michigan City, Indiana with  Rev. Walter Rakoczy officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Michigan City, Indiana.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 AM -10:30 AM in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.  The Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 9:00 AM in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

He was born May 5, 1938 in Winchester, Indiana. On April 30, 1960 in Michigan City, Indiana he married Laurice (Bahar) Dull who preceded him in death on October 1, 2007.  Surviving are two daughters, Kathleen Dull and Michele Dull both of Michigan City, Indiana; sister, Paulette Brown of Reading, Michigan; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces,great-nephews and cousins; He was preceded in death by  two sisters, Karen Dull and Dolres Radkey along with his  father and mother Vernon and Mary Elizabeth Dull.   

John attended St. Stanislaus School where he served as an altar boy.  He was a member of the former Sacred Heart Catholic Church and St. Mary's Catholic Church, Michigan City, Indiana.  He also served as a Eucharist minister and usher along with being a server for funeral masses.  John was a member of the St. Jude Novena.  He was a very caring, generous person who loved his pets and animals.  In his youth he worked in construction, Friendship Gardens and retired after 37 years from ArcelorMittal as a screening station operator.
