Joan K. Mulconrey, 92, Beverly Shores, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 9:30 pm.

There will be no visitation hours, private family services will take place.  Arrangements are being handled by the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.

She was born January 27, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois to the late  John and Stella (Root) Kiaune.  On April 21, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois she married Francis "Frank" Mulconrey, who preceded her in death on July 24, 2012. Surviving are daughter, Marilyn (Terry) McShane of Aurora, Colorado; three sons, Mark (Penny) Mulconrey of Belleville, IL, Bruce Mulconrey and  Neal (Shelley) Mulconrey both of Beverly Shores, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Daniel (Sarah) Mulconrey, Kristin (Ed) Miller, Colleen McShane, Brian (Ashley) McShane, Kevin McShane, Maggie (Lance) Kestel, Matthew Mulconrey and Laura (Ken) Cox; fifteen Great-Grandchildren, Claire, Lauren, Grace, James, Charlotte and Meghan Mulconrey, Nicholas and Jonathan Miller, Sam, Zoie, Bay and Kai Cox, Brendan,Gavin and Avery McShane. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Dambros;   

She was a licensed beautician, matron at Bogan High School, Chicago, Illinois and being a long time resident of Beverly Shores since the 1940's was extremely active with the Dunes Women's Club, Beverly Shores, Indiana.
