September 18, 1939 - November 16, 2022 

Jerome S. "Jerry" Janowski, 83, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 6:06 pm in his home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 1506 Washington Street, Michigan City, IN with  Rev. Walter Rakoczy officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:30 am - 11:00 am, Tuesday at the church. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.    

He was born September 18, 1939 in Michigan City, IN to the late Stanley and Anna (Marciniak) Janowski. 

Surviving are his sister, Theresa (Fred) Bildhauser of Michigan City, IN; three nephews, Donald (Cathy) Bildhauser of La Porte, IN, Timothy Bildhauser of Michigan City, IN and Joseph (Katie) Bildhauser of Fishers, IN; niece, Kristen (Eric) Edson of Trail Creek, IN; and five great-nieces and 1 great-nephew.

Jerry retired as a glazier with the Glaziers Union Local 91 and a U.S.  Army Veteran. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and the St. Joseph Young Men's Society. Jerry enjoyed his automobiles and being with his family.
