Jeffrey Alan Seaman, 67, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023 in his home.

He was born on August 17, 1956, in La Porte, Indiana, to the late Robert and Louise (Long) Seaman.

Jeff in his retirement, as a mechanical engineer, enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchild, Orion, his two sisters and friends. He had a great sense of humor, he could be witty, and his joy will be sorely missed. Jeff was also an avid Oregon Ducks fan, and he was excited about this season where he had planned to attend games with his children this year. Go Ducks!!! In his younger days, he was an ordained minister in fellowship, although he changed paths to work as an engineer to provide for his family, he has kept his faith to this day. May Jesus give comfort and guidance to Jeff in his transition.

Surviving are his three children, John (Donaji) Seaman, Aaron Seaman, and Katie (Blaise) Boscaccy; two sisters, Debbie Rigterink and Paula (Jerry) Agar; one brother, Bobby Seaman; and two grandchildren, Orion and Makahla. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Sherri Walker.

Jeff's celebration of life will be held from 1 to 5 p.m., Sunday, October 22, 2023 at the Barrelhouse, 113 York St., Michigan City, Indiana 46360. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, is handling arrangements.
