Jasiel Ariyon Sherrod, infant son of Daniel Antoine Sherrod Jr. and Jalesa Tanorya Wright, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023.

Cremation has taken place. The family will cherish and celebrate Jasiel's memory. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana is handling arrangements.

I gave birth to my guardian angel 4 months and 3 days too early...Jasiel, left me with a smile on his face and the knowledge that he was a fighter after 10 hrs. of active labor with a heartbeat and strong kicks. Born with the sweetest face, almost a exact replica of his daddy from his head all the way down to his little toes. I got to hold you from the moment you were born and warm till early morning on December 1, 2023, when me and daddy cried and prayed over you and finally let you go home. I kissed you, smelt you, felt your warmth and I'll forever miss the feeling of you in my arms. I sung your first and last happy birthday to you while you smiled up to me in my arms. We watched you get weighed and measured and you were a big boy already. Me and daddy said our goodbyes to you in flesh, never in spirit.
