Janice M. Humelsheim, 71, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 11:20 am in her home.

A time of visitation will be Monday, May 13, 2024 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.  Family burial will take place in Searcy, Arkansas   

She was born March 4, 1953 in Tyronza, Arkansas to the late Prim and Frances (Hobbs) Bonee. On September 30, 1979 in Michigan City, Indiana she married Richard Humelsheim who survives in Michigan City, Indiana.  Also surviving are son, Richard Lawrence (Rhonda Wright) Humelsheim II of Michigan City, Indiana; sister, Sara McFarland of La Porte, Indiana;  brothers, Floyd (Judy) Bonee of La Porte, Indiana, Kenneth (Ola) Bonee of Arkansas, Joe Bonee of Arkansas, Monty Bonee of Tennessee; sister-in-law, Sue Bonee of Tennessee; She was preceded in death by son, Russell Moist, Jr.; brother, Danny Bonee; sister-in-law, Melinda Bonee;    

Janice was part owner of 2 Sisters Cleaning Services for over 20 years, then retired from Hearthside Food Solutions, Michigan City, Indiana.  She enjoyed bowling and fishing along with her family.
