January 25, 1944 - July 8, 2020

Janet R. Kovall, 76, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 6:07 pm in Franciscan Health - Michigan City.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, 606 S. Woodland Ave., Michigan City, IN with Rev. Kevin Huber officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 10:30 am, Thursday at the church. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

She was born January 25, 1944 in Rensselaer, IN to the late John and M. Pauline (Shindelar) Hartsburg.

Surviving are a daughter, Michelle (Brian) Warnock of La Porte, IN; son, Scott (Faith) Kovall of Marceilles, IL; six grandchildren, Brielle, Nathan and Annalise Warnock and Rob, Kholton and, Paige Kovall.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Gary Hartsburg.

Janet had worked as a hostess at Robin Hood Restaurant, Michigan City, IN and as a process server in Florida. She was a member of Queen of All Saints Catholic Church and the Women of the Moose #935. Janet enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family.
