Jane Siebert, 67, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Friday, July 30, 2021 at 11:15 pm in Franciscan Health - Michigan City.

Private family services will be conducted. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Friday, August 6, 2021 at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN.    

She was born October 3, 1953 in Michigan City, IN to the late John and Jeanne (Clarke) Retseck. 

Surviving are two daughters, Sarah Woodham of Michigan City, IN and Emily (Matt) Mellen of New Milford, CT; six grandchildren, Addison, Raymond, Josephine, Jon, Sadie and Lyla; four sisters, Mary Anne Retseck of South Bend, IN, Barbara (Ted) Gawronski of Michigan City, IN, Elizabeth (Brian) Lernihan of Naperville, IL., Catherine "Kate"  (Wayne) Buell, Michigan City, Indiana and her brother, Thomas (Mary Jo) Retseck of St. John, IN.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Steele; three brothers, Richard Retseck, John  Retseck, Jr. and James Retseck; and her former spouse, Stephen Siebert.

Jane had worked as an X-ray technician. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining.
