Jane A. (Burns) Haak

Jane A. Haak, 82, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 3:45 pm in Life Care Center of Michigan City, Michigan City, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City, IN. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm -1:00 pm, Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.    

She was born July 2, 1938 in Michigan City, IN to the late Leonard and Elizabeth (Przybylinski) Burns. On September 30, 1995 in Michigan City, Indiana she married John Haak who preceded August 5, 2000.

Surviving are two daughters, Daphne (Kelly) Hundley of Panama City, FL, Katherine Vance of Destin, FL; two sons, James Vance of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Ronald (Tracie) Vance of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; brother, Clifford Burns of Alabaster, AL; two grandchildren, Spencer Vance, Mia Vance. She was preceded in death by brother, Robert Burns; good friend, Joan Berg.    

Jane retired from Finishing Touch Cleaning after 5 years. She loved being outdoors and tending to her garden. Jane enjoyed watching Billy Graham and spending time with her family. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Dunes Hospice staff for there great compassion and care.
