James M. Pieszchala, 64, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at 1:32 pm in Franciscan Health - Michigan City.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with Rev. Walter Ciesla officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 9:00 am - 11:00 am, Wednesday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.    

He was born July 1, 1959 in Michigan City, IN to the late Carl and Emily (Ziomek) Pieszchala. 

Surviving are his sister, Mary Pieszchala of San Diego, CA; nephew, Zachary Mazurkiewicz; and friend, George Boguslawski of Michigan City, IN.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Carol Pieszchala.

James retired from Fas-Pak Inc., La Porte, IN. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and enjoyed, baking, cooking, bicycle riding, taking walks and spending time at the beach.
