Jim and Sue met in 1968, she had a 68 maroon Plymouth Satellite, he had a blue 68 Plymouth GTX.  Cattin' the drag up Franklin to the lake then down to McDonalds, on to Azar's Big Boy drive-in for a turn-around and back to the golden arches meeting friends and having some fries.  Weekends were spent drag racing the GTX at US 30 and Osceola drag strips.
Jim and Sue had many adventures four-wheeling in Canada, Colorado and Michigan.  After the boys came we went everywhere together.  Helping their Dad get the Land Cruiser ready for a special trip to South Dakota having them driving their vehicles with us on trail rides. Driving up and down the sand dunes and building sandcastles  in Michigan was a family favorite trip.   Fall color trips to Northern Michigan was a must do for Jim and life long friends riding the trails.
Jim was very proud of his sons and their many talents.  He was a loving husband, father, and a great PaPa to Dylan and will be greatly missed.  Jim retired after 37 years from NIPSCO  Bailly Generating Station as a power plant master mechanic.  He also was a proud member of the United Steel Workers Local Union # 12775.
Special thanks to Franciscan Home Care, Catherine and Mindy for exceptional care, and also to Dunes Hospice.
