Jacqueline A. Grant

Jacqueline A. Grant, 74, Long Beach, Indiana, passed away in her sleep in the early hours of Friday, October 2, 2020  at her home in Long Beach, Indiana.

There will be no visitation or service.  The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana is handling arrangements. 

She was born July 17, 1946 in Leek, England to the late Charles and Mary Kathleen (Walsh) Hollinshead.  On November 21, 1970 in Brussels, Belgium, she married Peter Grant who survives in Long Beach, Indiana.  She would have celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary this November.

Also surviving are two sisters, Patricia Howard of Lichfield, England, and Angela (Paul) Bratt of Hednesford, England. 

Jacqui had a degree in hotel management and was an accomplished homemaker and gourmet cook, in foreign countries as well as the United States.  For several years she was also the assistant teacher for the Social and Learning Institute.  She will be especially remembered for her engaging personality and nimble sense of humor.
