Helen Demko, 72, Westville, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 4:49 pm in Franciscan Health - Michigan City.
Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, April 23, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church/Otis, 101 N. Church St., Otis, IN. Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Saturday at the church. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.
She was born July 26, 1949 in Rendsburg, Germany to the late Czeslaw and Maria (Cieraszynski) Demko.
Surviving are her sister, Anna (Ron) Foldenauer of Westville, IN; brother-in-law Dallas Seedorf of La Porte, IN; three nieces, Tara (Aaron) Addy, Tina (Greg Bouhanna) Kaiser and Debbie (Steve) Wozniak; and a nephew, David (Amy) Seedorf; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Maria Seedorf; and niece, Patricia Littleton.
Helen retired after 40 years as nurse at Porter Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed fishing, golfing and traveling.
