Gregory P. "Tank" Switalski, 70, La Porte, Indiana, passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 at 4:10 pm in his home.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted and announced at a later date.  Arrangements are being handled by the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.

He was born July 23, 1952 in Mishawaka, Indiana to the late Edward H. Switalski, Sr. and Ruth E.(Bennett) Switalski Wible.   Surviving are daughter, Annamarie E. (Jesse) Weddell of South Bend, Indiana; siblings, Janet Aleman of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Judith (Roy) Regalado of La Porte, Indiana, Edward H. Switalski, Jr., of La Porte, Indiana, Jonathan Switalski of Michigan City, Inidana, Rebecca Patz, Michigan City, Indiana and Karen Ashcraft of Michigan City, Indiana;  He was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Dennis Ashcraft;   

Greg was presently employed with Showman Supplies, Inc., La Porte, Indiana for many years as a semi-truck driver.  He also served in the US Marine Corp and had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his friends as much as they enjoyed his presence.
