Gregory Patrick Duy, 59, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 at 7:37 pm in his home.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 pm, Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm, Saturday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

He was born May 15, 1959 in Aurora, Illinois to the late Ralph and Helen Jean (Von Ohlen) Duy. On June 2, 2000 in Geneva, IL he married Katherine May Killingback who survives in Michigan City, IN.

Also surviving are his daughter, Jean Nicole "Janik" Duy of Batavia, IL; son, Patrick Michael (Maribel) Duy of Minooka, IL; five grandchildren, Ronin Schmitt, Aurora Schmitt, Natalie Duy, Jason Duy and Logan Duy; sister, Robyn (Dave) Olson of Evanston, IL; two brothers, Tod (Karla) Duy of Sandwich, IL and Tim (Lori) Duy of Rockford, IL; and his in-laws, Betty and Gary Grobe of Canada.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Tom Duy.

Greg was a supervisor at Lyon, LLC. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, bowling, golfing, fishing and photography.
