Gerald J. Piotrowski, 78, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at 5:36 am in Franciscan Health - Michigan City.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with  Rev. Kevin Huber officiating. Private burial will take place.  Visitation will be from 4:00 pm -7:00 pm, Wednesday and from 9:00 am - 10:00 am Thursday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel. The St. Joseph Young Men's Society will recited the Rosary 4:00 pm Wednesday in the funeral chapel.  

He was born December 17, 1942 in Michigan City, IN to the late John and Ann (Moscan) Piotrowski. On August 28, 1965 in Michigan City, IN he married Ursula "Sally" Quartuccio who survives in Michigan City, IN.

Also surviving are a daughter, Susan (George T.) Hadenfelt of Chesterton, IN; son, Jefferey (Trista) Piotrowski of Westville, IN; six grandchildren, Tess, Katie, Beth, Molly, Megan and Maeve; and a great-grandchild, Adalynn.

Gerry retired as a salesman for Indiana Beverage. He also had worked at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel and was a time keeper for many Michigan City sports.  He was a graduate of Elston High School and a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, St. Joseph Young Men's Society and the Phi Delta Kappa Fraternity. Gerry enjoyed watching sports, playing golf and spending time with his family.
