Earl W. McGinnis, 84, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 9:20 am in his home.

Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 10:00 AM (CST) in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Three Oaks, Michigan and will be announced at a later date.  Arrangements are being handled by the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St. Michigan City, Indiana.  

He was born July 29, 1937 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Joseph and Alice (Pieffer) McGinnis. He was married to Mary Mason, who preceded him in death.  On September 13, 1986 in Michigan City, Indiana he married Carol Handtke Wolfe who survives Michigan City, Indiana; Also surviving are two daughters, Kimberly Losiniecki of Michigan City, Indiana, Terri (Scott) Beans of Kingsbury, Indiana; son, Christopher Wolfe of Michigan City, Indiana; four Grandchildren, Shannon (Kar) Nallenweg of New Carlisle, Indiana, Nicole (Roberto Morales) Losiniecki of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, Brandon Losiniecki of Michigan City, Indiana and  Jason Fair of North Liberty, Indiana along with 10 Great-Grandchildren; brother, Larry McGinnis of New Buffalo, Michigan; He was preceded in death by grandson, Ryan Losiniecki along with  four brothers, Joseph McGinnis, Jr., Jack McGinnis, Robert McGinnis, Charles McGinnis and a sister, Edna Poor;   

Earl had previously worked at Joy Mfg for 27 years, and then retiring from the Indiana State Prison as a supervisor in the garment shop department. He was also a veteran of the US Marine Corps.
