Dorothy A. Kelley, 83, Michigan City, IN, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 6:15 am in Hamilton Communities, Inc., New Carlisle, IN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 21, 2021 at St. Ann of the Dunes Catholic Church, 433 East Golfwood Road, Beverly Shores, IN with Rev. Jon Plavcan officiating.Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Friday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN and from 9:30 am - 10:00 am Saturday at the church.    

She was born March 29, 1938 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Philip and Caroline (Forney) Dusza. On February 20, 1960 in Michigan City, IN she married Larry Gene Kelley who survives in Michigan City, IN.

Also surviving are three daughters, Kim (Joe) Haynes of Michigan City, IN, Colleen (Michael) Lobeck of Granger, IN and  Carole Shepp-Kelley of Elkhart, IN; son, Larry Gene Kelley, Jr. of Michigan City, IN; ten grandchildren, Kelly Haynes, Melisa Strakowski, Leann (Jacob) Haynes, Tracy (Charlie) Henry, Foster Tucker, Kyle Tucker, Jacob (Katie) Tucker, Derrick Tucker, Haylie Lobeck and Holly Lobeck; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Lola) Dusza of Michigan City, IN; and her sister-in-law, Carol Dusza of Michigan City, IN.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Dusza and Philip Dusza.   

Dorothy retired from her accounting/tax business. She was a member of St. Ann of the Dunes Catholic Church, Beverly Shores, IN.  Dorothy was a volunteer for many years at the Footlight Players and for the Girl Scouts.  She also was a former member of the Exchangette Club and C.A.S.A.
