Dolores M. Szymkowski, 95, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 8:41 pm in Franciscan Health - Michigan City.
Private family services were conducted. Burial took place in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.
She was born April 10, 1923 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Andrew and Frances (Kaiser) Igielski. On April 25, 1942 in Michigan City, IN she married Clarence Szymkowski who preceded her on May 10, 2011.
Surviving are a daughter, Connie (Tom) Justice of LaPorte, IN; daughter-in-law, Linda Szymkowski of Michigan City, IN; four grandchildren, LaDonna Szymkowski, Jennifer Justice, Danny Szymkowski and Dylan Justice; and three great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Larry Szymkowski; and two brothers, Louis and Alfonse Igielski.
Delores had worked at St. Anthony's Hospital and was a member of Queen of All Saints Catholic Church. She enjoyed being with her family.
