Dolores "Dolly" Lynn LaBerge, 69, New Buffalo, Michigan, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 7:46 PM in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, Indiana.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM CST, Friday, June 2, 2023 at St. Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church, 718 W. Buffalo St., New Buffalo, Michigan with Rev. Basker Lopez and Rev. Kevin Cobert officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, New Buffalo, Michigan. Visitation will be from 7:30 AM - 9:15 AM CST, Friday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana 46360. 

She was born July 25, 1953, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, to the late Matthew and Wanda (Worek) Ropar. On December 5, 1970, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, in Michigan City, Indiana, she married Garry Edward LaBerge, who survives. They cherished 52 years of marriage together.  Also surviving is a daughter, Juli LaBerge and a son, Todd (Nicole) LaBerge both of New Buffalo, Michigan; three grandchildren, Trevor LaBerge, Adam (Alaina) Knigga, and Jake LaBerge; one great-grandchild, Layla LaBerge; and two sisters, Carol Lambert and Marlene Milcarek. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Ropar.

Dolly was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchild. She enjoyed sunny days outside tending to her flowers. Her family will remember those fun family vacations to Florida. The greatest highlight for her was visiting Walt Disney World. 

She attended St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church and  was a receptionist for a prominent dentist in Michigan City, Indiana and has worked for other dental practices.
