She was born on April 19, 1970, in La Porte, Indiana, to the late Alfred Beck Sr. and Elizabeth (Vance) Beck.

Surviving are her three daughters, Amandda (Matt) Hampton of Michigan City, Indiana, Jesicca Richie of La Porte, Indiana, and Tabitha (Scott) Brown of Chesterton, Indiana; her brother, Alfred Beck, Jr. of North Carolina; her sister, Lisa (Mark) Hinz of La Porte, Indiana; her two beloved grandchildren, Arwin and Harrison Hoyt; and her faithful cat, Sterling. As well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Diane dedicated much of her professional life to caring for others. She worked in a variety of roles for more than 20 years at Franklin Clinic in Michigan City, where she became known for her reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to help wherever she was needed. She later continued her career with Franciscan Health on Coolspring Avenue, remaining committed to providing compassionate service and support to patients and coworkers alike.

Outside of work, Diane found joy in life's simple pleasures. She was an avid reader who could often be found with a good book and a cup of coffee in hand and enjoyed spending evenings watching true crime shows. On the weekends, she loved to bargain shop at yard sales with her daughter and granddaughter. Those who knew Diane will remember her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. She had a remarkable ability to find laughter in almost any situation and could brighten a room with a well-timed joke or humorous remark. Her strength, resilience, and caring nature left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Above all else, Diane's greatest joy was her family. She treasured every moment spent with her daughters and especially adored her grandchildren, Arwin and Harrison, who brought endless happiness to her life. Whether sharing stories, celebrating special occasions, or simply enjoying time together, those moments were among her most cherished. The love she gave so freely and the memories she created with her family will continue to be treasured for generations to come.

Diane will be deeply missed for her kindness, laughter, unwavering dedication, and the love she shared with her family and friends. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
