Delores D. Henckel, 85, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 8:45 pm in her home.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Monday, November 15, 2021 in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.    

She was born July 16, 1936 in Michigan City, IN to the late Edward and Dorothy (Woodruff) Murray. On May 8, 1954 in Michigan City, IN she married Warren Henckel who preceded in death on July 22, 2004.

Surviving are a daughter, Debra Knoll of Michigan City, IN; son, William Henckel of Salem, MO; brother, Carl (Susan) Murray of Trenton, FL; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Wehrle; and two sons, Harvey and Michael Henckel.   

Delores was a member of Queen of All Saints Catholic Church. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and loved her family and dog.
