She was born September 13, 1930 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Frank and Tillie (Wotta) Losiniecki. On November 11, 1950 she married Joseph S.Sosinski who preceded her in death on November 16, 1998.  Surviving are two daughters, Mary (Joe) Molnar of South Bend, Indiana, and Kathy Mikulski of Michigan City, Indiana; four sons, Tom Sosinski and Loran (Sherry) Sosinski both of La Porte, Indiana, Joe A. (Jennifer) Sosinski of Tennessee, Michael (Christine) Sosinski of Ohio; 14 grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her grandson, Eric Henry; daughter-in-law, Trisha Sosinski; son-in-law, Mike Mikulski; brother, and Marvin Losiniecki;

Delcie was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and Young at Heart Club, Michigan City, Indiana.  She retired as billing clerk from Tucker Freight Line.. Her legacy is a Catholic life of loving and raising her children.  Delcie, with Joe of course, made many sacrifices to see that their children received a Catholic education.  Her faith was very important to her, and is what defined her.  Following the Blessed Mother's example she always prayed for her children and grandchildren.  She was the family's worrier and prayer warrior.  She especially prayed for whom ever needed it the most at the time and prayed for anyone and everyone.   As an extension of her children, she loved and prayed for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Appropriately, Our Lord came to get mom on a Marian Feast Day.  All her grandchildren and great grandchildren will now benefit from her continued prayers from above. Delcie loved to cook.  A  Sunday family tradition of eating and being together.  We believe her Golabki's were the best!  She cooked until she was  convinced it was time to stop.  She also enjoyed polkaing and traveling with Joe to many polka events.  She passed the polka dancing to all her children.   The family would like to thank Golden Heart and Home in South Bend for the great care mom received the last two years.  Emily, her husband Marquis and the whole staff were very caring and compassionate. A special thank you to mom's favorite caregiver Tommy.  We'd also like to thank Ascent Hospice for Delcie's care, especially Sally, such an amazing nurse.

Contributions may be made to Golden Heart and Home, 53025 Oakmont W. Drive, South Bend, IN 46637, Ascent Hospice, 1930 Edison Road, South Bend, IN 46617 or to the donor's choice..
