July 15, 1957 - January 29, 2021 

David Wickizer, 63, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at 2:15 pm in Franciscan Health - Michigan City.

Private family services will be conducted. Burial will take place in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.    

He was born July 15, 1957 in Knox, IN to the late Norman and Marie (Price) Wickizer. 

Surviving are his sister, Nancy Hudson of Claypool, IN; friends, Amy Hartz, Angel Hartz, Greg Hekter, Rick Raven, Nata Dominoske and Alexa VonRothe; and his pet cat, Lady.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Denise Ritchie; brother, Floyd Wickizer; and his friends, Ernie Blair and Dyana Kinsey.  

He had worked as a janitor at Tandem Transport. David participated in the events of basketball, track, bowling and swimming in the Special Olympics. He enjoyed Wi bowling, and eating at Olive Garden and the Sugar Bowl Restaurant. He loved his Special Olympic bowling family. The family would like to acknowledge the Dungarvin staff for the loving care they provided to David.
