Darlene L. Wilson, 68, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 3:47 p.m. No services will be held.

She was born on January 23, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Glen Walston and Lucia (Ballico) Pittacora. On October 7, 1989, in Michigan City, Indiana, she married James D. Wilson, who survives in Michigan City.

Also surviving are her son, Alex James Wilson of Michigan City, Indiana; granddaughter, Nora Rose Wilson; two sisters-in-law, Susan Bortell of Michigan City, Indiana, and Kathleen (Nicholas) Mirzoeff of Long Island, New York.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucia Pittacora; step-father, Joseph Pittacora; and sister-in-law, Kristine Wilson.

Darlene was an Analyst at Bank of America for 50 years, and earned her black belt in Shorin Ryu karate along with James and Alex. She had a beautiful soul and will be remembered as a kind and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. The memories she made with her family and friends will be cherished forever.
