Daniel D. Bethke, 28, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 8:02 am in his home.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 pm, Friday, May 17, 2024 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN.  Visitation will be from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Friday at the funeral chapel.    

He was born May 16, 1995 in South Bend, IN to the late Daniel L. and Cheryl (Smith) Bethke. 

Surviving are his fiance, Lisa LaFortune of Michigan City, IN; daughter, Sophia Bethke of Michigan City, IN; two sisters, Amy (Derek) Hamann and Marissa Bethke, both of Michigan City, IN; brother, Adam Bethke of Michigan City, IN; niece, Alexandria Bethke; three nephews, Austin Bethke, Braxton Schell and Zeek Solner; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Daniel was a maintenance manager at Packaging Logic, La Porte, IN. He enjoyed the outdoors, working on anything and being with his family.
