Cynthia K. Voegtlin, 71, Valparaiso, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 10:35 pm in VNA Hospice Center, Valparaiso, IN.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm, Monday, June 22, 2020 at Emmanuel Baptist Church of South Haven, 760 McCool Rd., Valparaiso, IN with Pastor John Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Heritage Cemetery, Portage, IN. Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, Monday at the church. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

She was born March 5, 1949 in Alton, IL to the late Lloyd and Laura (Peterson) Martin. In August of 1971 in Bunker Hill, IL she married Kenneth Voegtlin who preceded her March 22, 2006.

Surviving are daughter, Karen (Jason) Bogue of Kouts, IN; three grandchildren, Summer, Miguel and Drew; two great-grandchildren, Carson and Wynter; and her brother, Dennis (Terry) Martin of Moline, IL.

She was also preceded in death by brother, Louis Wadlow.

Cynthia has worked as a secretary for General Electric & I.B.M. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of South Haven, IN where she was a substitute teacher, sang in the choir and was a leader/secretary of Reformers Unanimous.
