Cynthia Diana Bowles, 55, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 4:48 pm in Northwest Health-La Porte, La Porte, IN.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.    

She was born July 21, 1968 in Chicago, IL to the late Charles and Julia (Montonya) Bowles. 

Surviving are her son, Nathan Bowles of Michigan City, IN; grandchild, Willow Marie Bowles of South Bend, IN; brother, Charles Bowles of Danville, IN; and significant other, Michael Tanber of Michigan City, IN: and many cousins and other family members.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Tanber.   

Cynthia enjoyed cooking, arts & crafts and watching football. She was an avid Miami Dolphins and New York Jets fan and loved animals, especially cats and dolphins. Cynthia also loved being a grandmother, was strong willed and loved with a big heart.
