Cleo F. Gonzalez, 79, Westville, Indiana, passed away Monday, July 30, 2018 at 8:30 am in Sanctuary at St. Paul's, South Bend, IN.

Private family services will be conducted. Burial will be in Ferrisville Cemetery, Mishawaka, IN. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

She was born January 24, 1939 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Darlene and Naomi (Snodgrass) Bermes. She married Oliver Gonzalez who preceded her on November 30, 1996.

Surviving are two daughters, Melisa (Donald) Schlunt of Mishawaka, IN and Brenda (Mark, Sr.) Stevens of Meza, AZ; two sons, David (Cher) Gonzalez of Sacramento, CA and Joshua Gonzalez of Westville, IN; ten grandchildren, Amber, Brandie, David, Stacy, Mark, Jr., Preston, Davis, David, Max and Contessa; eight great-grandchildren, Mikaela, Hailey, Lucas, Emmett, Isabell, Leiha, Olivia and Ryan; and three sisters, Charlotte (Ed) Masters of Fort Wayne, IN, Sue (Bob) Mowan of Fort Myers, FL and Janet (Steve) Shockney of Fort Wayne, IN.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Davis; and brother, Charles Bermes.

Cleo had worked as a professional baker and at T.P. Orthodontics. She enjoyed playing bingo and visiting the casino.
