Clayton Charles Kuehl, 1 month old, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023 at 8 p.m. in Memorial Hospital of South Bend.

A private visitation and service was conducted. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana handled the arrangements.

He was born December 6, 2022, in Michigan City, Indiana, to Jack Nathan and Rachel Cecilia (Coursel) Kuehl, who survives in Michigan City, IN.

Also surviving are his nine siblings, Cameron Baugher, James Kuehl, Jack Kuehl II, Jillian Kuehl, Cali Stiffler, Chloe Stiffler, Claire Kuehl, Cason Kuehl, and Carlee Kuehl, all of Michigan City, IN; maternal grandparents, Chuck and Franci Coursel of Michigan City, IN; paternal grandmother, Jackie Butzler of Michigan City, IN; paternal grandfather, John Kuehl of South Carolina; aunts, Sara Coursel of Michigan City, IN, Kim (Calvin) Hosier of Chesterton, IN, Mary West of Georgia, and Stephanie Girouard of Valparaiso, IN; two uncles, Jeff Kuehl of Kouts, IN and John Kuehl of Valparaiso, IN; and great-aunt, Pamela (Tom) Swedenberg of Michigan City, IN.

Although he was only with us for a short 41 days, he was loved by so many who never even had the chance to meet him. He fought so hard to come home, but God had other plans for him. He will always be in our hearts and we will all be together again someday. Clayton, Mommy and Daddy love you so much!! You will always be our Hulk baby.
