Cheryl Lynn Heninger, 59, Trail Creek, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 1:46 pm in Franciscan Health - Michigan City.

Private family services will be conducted. Burial will take place in Door Village Cemetery, LaPorte, IN.  Visitation will be from 9:00 am - 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN.    

She was born August 23, 1961 in Michigan City, IN to the late William and Earlene (Shick) Piper. On November 14, 2010 in Michigan City, IN she married Timothy Heninger who survives in Trail Creek, IN.

Also surviving are two daughters, Nichole Knoll of Lafayette, IN and Samijo Knoll of Indianapolis, IN; two sons, Tim (Lindsey) Heninger of Michigan City, IN, Tyler (Nina) Heninger of Union Mills, IN; seven grandchildren, Chloe Knoll-Schadt, Teagan Heninger, Kensley Heninger, Casen Heninger, Sylas Heninger, Salem Salinas and Nayden Thorton; and two brothers, Brett Piper and Kip Piper, both of Michigan City, IN.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Haley H. Knoll.

Cheryl was a former business owner who enjoyed riding motorcycles, shopping, the beach, vacationing in Florida, producing artwork and spending time with her family.
