Charles "Chuck" Max Hendricks Sr., 63, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 9:41 p.m. in his home.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral chapel.

He was born on May 18, 1961 in Rolling Prairie, Indiana, to Robert Hendricks and Barbara Hendricks Knoll.

Surviving are his two sons, Gordon Robert (Cindy Setlak) Hendricks of Westville, Indiana and Charles "Chuck" Max Hendricks, Jr. of Three Oaks, Michigan; and one grandchild, Devon Wehrly. He was preceded in death by
his father, Robert Hendricks.

Chuck honorably served his country in the early 80's in the United States Army, once being stationed in Germany and Kansas. He was an electrician for many years, also working in industrial maintenance. Chuck handed down his work ethic to his sons while teaching them everything they know today. Before the passing of his wife, Sherry Hendricks, he spent many joyful times doing activities and traveling with her. He was well loved and respected by friends.
