November 20, 1938 - February 25, 2026
Charles A. "Woody" Harrison, 87, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 4:15 pm in Franciscan Health - Michigan City.
Private family services will be conducted. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.
He was born November 20, 1938 in Stoutsville, OH to the late Charles W. and Gladys (Koch) Harrison. On January 6, 1961 in Circleville, OH he married Sandra Callihan who survives in Michigan City, IN.
Also surviving are two daughters, Susan (Jennifer) Harrison and Rebecca (David) Dipert both of Michigan City, IN; son, James Harrison of Michigan City, IN; one bonus daughter, Tracy Harshman of Michigan City, IN; six grandchildren, Nicole (Jake) Warrens, Mackenzie Harrison, Cailyn Harrison, Kylie Harrison, John Dipert and Delani Dipert; three great-grandchildren, Elena Malott, Anastasia Warrens and Kalista Warrens; and two sisters, Charlene (David) Blue of Circleville, OH and Carolyne (Willard) Peters of Lutz, FL.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Marjorie Curry; brother, Robert Harrison; and two grandchildren, Bradley Harrison and Lauren Dipert-Malott;
Woody retired as the shipping and receiving supervisor at Michigan City Chrysler. He was a long time member of Countryside Christian Church. He enjoyed gardening, reading and watching sports. Woody was an avid Ohio State Buckeye Fan. His love, kindness and strength shaped his beautiful family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa and neighbor.
