Candace J. Marrapode, 77, La Porte, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 7:10 pm in her home.

Private services will be conducted. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.    

She was born October 4, 1944 in Chicago, IL to the late Milton and Josephine (Kukman) Meden. 

Surviving are her daughter, Michelle (Klaus) Baumann of La Porte, IN; son, Thomas (Kristi) Marrapode of Naperville, IL; five grandchildren, Steven Brunell, Tanner (Heather Elem) Piotrowski, Makayla Piotrowski, Alex Baumann and Christa Baumann; four great-grandchildren, Brayden, DAaliyah, Kaiden and Ryker; two sisters, Sharon (Irwin) Berg of Michiana Shores, MI and Sandy (Bill) Barron of Barrington, IL; and two brothers, Milton Meden and Terry Meden, both of Michiana Shores, MI.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, MaryAnn Rosenblum.  

Candace had worked as a home health care provider and enjoyed being with her family.
