Brian Charles Kimmel, Age 56 of Michigan City, IN, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 10th, 2025. Born in Oak Park, Illinois on April 28th, 1969 to Jack V. Kimmel and Phyllis R. Kimmel. He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his Mother, Phyllis R. Kimmel as well as his two brothers, Scott W. Kimmel, (Linda), of LaPorte, IN., and Craig S. Kimmel, (Danette) of Shorewood, IL. He is also survived by an Aunt and many Cousins, a niece
And nephews.
Brian was extremely loyal to all of his family and friends. He was a proud member of The New Buffalo, Michigan American Legion Post 169. He proudly served in their Honor Guard and parades.
He was an accomplished Pianist and also played the Bass Guitar instrument.
Brian was also selected to perform with The Oak Park And River Forest High School Symphony Orchestra and performed overseas in Austria and in Germany. He was very proud of this experience and accomplishment.
He was also an avid and skilled Fisherman. He loved the outdoors going on Fishing, Camping and Canoeing trips with his Brothers and close friends.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. The Ott/Haverstock funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana 46360 is handling arrangements.
