Brian K. Gulstrom, 62, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Monday, October 13, 2025 at his home.

He was born October 18, 1962 in Michigan City, IN to the late Gene and Susan (VanGilder) Gulstrom. In July 1995 he married Dawn Marie Paton in Houston TX. She currently resides in Magnolia, TX.

Surviving are twin sons Josh, Justin, and daughter Valerie.  Additionally, Brian was a proud grandpa to Zoey, Carter, and Lucius. He is also survived by brother Stephen (Peri) of Collierville, TN and a sister Pam Wojcik (Marc) of Brookfield WI. Brian is also survived by many supportive aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces. .

Brian worked various jobs throughout his life but mostly as an independent contractor doing wiring, cable, and security systems. Brian excelled at sports at an early age and was an all-around athlete. The love for athletics continued into adult life as he devoutly followed the Houston Cougars, Rockets, Astros, and Texans. He had a real passion for Harley Davidson. He had some amazing bike trips and made some good friends. Brian never met a stranger and his zany personality made everyone laugh. His free spirit led him to Texas for many years but his love for home in Michigan City brought him back in 2025.  

The family held a private celebration of life.
