Brett P. Wolford, 58, Hanna, Indiana, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 4:55 am with Gail by his side in I.U. Health University Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, October 16,2023 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana with Rev. Jeff Zigler officiating. Entombment will follow in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens, Michigan City, Indiana. Visitation hours will be Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of service in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.
He was born January 14, 1965 in La Porte, Indiana to the late Wayne Wolford and Beverly (Bales) Gill. On February 14, 2000 he married Gail Cook who survives Hanna, Indiana. Also surviving are three sons, Ken (Kerrie Spitler) Wolford of La Porte, Indiana, Kris Wolford of Chicago, Illinois, and Jeremy (Belanna Laduke) Miller of Michigan City, Indiana; two grandchildren, Braelynn Clezie, and Willow Miller; mother and step-father Beverly and Dwight Gill of La Porte, Indiana. step-mother , Cathy Wolford of Florida; sister, Cheryl (Casey) Kolasa of Monee, Illinois; two brothers, John Wolford and Robert (Laurie) Wolford both of La Porte, Indiana; father and mother-in-law, Dale and Dorothy Cook of La Porte, Indiana; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins; He was preceded in death by his father Wayne Wolford and brother, Tad Wolford ;
Brett was co-owner of the Hanna Hub, Hanna, Indiana. Brett and Gail supported many local events in their community of Hanna. He enjoyed all motor sports to NASCAR racing, car shows, camping and spending time with his family.
