Bonnie Jean "Dusty" Nothstine, 80, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Monday, December 11, 2023 at 10:10 am in her home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm, Friday, December 15, 2023 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with Pastor Barry Nothtine, Jr. and Pastor Thomas Nothstine officiating. Burial will follow in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, Friday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.    

She was born December 19, 1942 in South Bend, IN to the late Herman and Iola (Wilder) Bush. On June 11, 1960 in South Bend, IN she married Barry Nothstine, Sr. who survives in Michigan City, IN.

 Also surviving are her daughter, Laura "Laurie" (Jeff) Batchelor of Michigan City, IN; son, Barry (Lyndy) Nothstine, Jr. of Glendale, KY; eight grandchildren, Joshua (Jessie) Batchelor, Jaric (Gabbie) Batchelor, Cheyenne (Cody) Van Lue, Ava Nothstine, Logan (Gretchen) Nothstine, Jordan Nothstine, Zachary Nothstine and Caleb (Rachel) Nothstine; eight great-grandchildren, Ezekiel Nothstine, Azariah Nothstine, Bodie Nothstine, Millie Nothstine, Henry David Nothstine, Haven Tyra, Kinsley Van Lue and Abigail Van Lue; and her niece, Elise Nothstine of La Porte, IN.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Lou Bush and Sharon Robison; two brothers, Raymond Bush, Robert Bush; and grandson, Titus Caleb Nothstine.   

Dusty enjoyed reading, sewing, camping, swimming, water skiing and roller skating. She love all of her pets.
