Beverly Mae Bullis, 95, Long Beach, Indiana, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 10:55 pm in Rittenhouse Senior Living of Michigan City.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with Pastor William Fine officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Saturday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.

She was born February 19, 1925 in Ypsilanti, MI to the late Mearle and Elsie (Meckes) Myers. On June 15, 1947 in Ypsilanti, MI she married Russell Bullis who preceded her on January 24, 2008.

Surviving are two sons, R. Scott Bullis of Atlanta, GA, Todd (Karla) Bullis of Pottawattamie Park, IN; three grandchildren, Tia (Mat) Blair of Rolling Prairie, IN, Ayla (Bryan) Barnes of Overland Park, KS, E5 Todd Bullis II, United States Navy stationed in Bremerten, WA; great-grandchildren, Makenna Blair, Kara Blair, Tessa Blair, Kellan Barnes and soon to arrive great-granddaughter; and sister, Joyce Cullen of Wayne, MI.

She was also preceded in death by her brother Daniel Myers.

Following High School, she attended the School of Fine Arts at Ypsilanti.  Beverly retired as a realtor with Long Beach Realty. She loved every minute of her 30 plus years of contact with the public, (she did not consider it work). She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, PEO Chapter BA Sisterhood Golden Girl, and a past president and honorary member of the Michigan City Service League.

She enjoyed making her clothing, slip covering upholstering, cooking, bridge, dancing and bowling.  She believed in fun and laughter.
