Betty St. Germaine

Formerly of Trail Creek, Indiana, Betty June St. Germaine passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, in Tomball, Texas.

Betty was born on April 11, 1933, in Sanilac County, Michigan, the daughter of Thomas and Mildred Burgess. On August 27, 1955, she married Robert J. St. Germaine, who preceded her in death on October 1, 2001.

A dedicated educator, she spent many years teaching in Indiana and Michigan and frequently substituting for the Michigan City Area School System.

She is survived by her children: Stephen (Lora) St. Germaine, Ann (d. Ralph) Vaughn, and Katie St. Germaine. Her legacy also includes six grandchildren: Elizabeth (Joseph) Linehan, Aimee Vaughn, Suzanne Vaughn, Angela Mallory, Pam (Andrew) Massie, and Paul (Katie) Mallory, as well as six great-grandchildren: Audrey, Grace, and Ella Linehan; Hannah West; Mason Goff; and Rose Mallory.
